Awardee Criteria
Rev. James E. Wadsworth, Jr. Award (Man of the Year)
Criteria: The Man of the Year award is named in honor of the founder of Fellowship Chapel, and is presented to a member of the church who has provided outstanding service to the church and the community during the past year.
John Huff Award
Criteria: This award is named in honor of Mr. Huff and is presented to a long time member, 60 years or older, who has consistently provided outstanding service to the church and the community.
Steven Biko Award
Criteria: The recipient is a member, 30 years old or younger, and has been active in the struggle for Civil Rights and Social Justice as a member of Fellowship Chapel.
Outstanding New Member of the Year Award
Criteria: This award is presented to a member who joined Fellowship Chapel within the past two years, and has provided outstanding service to the church’s ministries and the Men’s Christian Fellowship.
Rev. Dr. Wendell Anthony Social Activist Award
Criteria: This award is presented to an individual who is a dedicated activist in the community and a committed servant in church or religious institution. This man distinguishes himself as one who has surrendered his life, personally and professionally, to advocacy, and the education and liberation of Afrikan people.
